I would like to help with support of CHIRP. I would particularly like to work on getting support for the Yaesu FT-270R completed.

Check out Developers if you're not sure where to start. Also, source:chirp/template.py will be helpful. You may find that an existing Yaesu is incredibly similar to the FT-270R, such as source:chirp/ft1802.py
