Description
CHIRP now compares the firmware version of the image to the firmware version of the radio and will only upload the image when they both exactly match. This makes the "special block" check unnecessary. It can be removed.
Removing the "special block" will also allow radios that accidentally had incompatible images uploaded by and older version of CHIRP will be able to restore their radio without need of a "special driver" that bypasses the "special block" check.
