Description

When trying to program my VX-8DR, I'm encountering an issue with the 70cm band. I can receive; but when I try to send, I get an error message. attached is the image file for my VX-8DR. The Channel in my VX-8DR that I'm having problems with are FRS1 (CH 29) through GMRS8 (CH 50).

I'm not sure this is a Chirp issue unless you can transmit on those frequencies in direct entry mode. FRS and GMRS are outside the ham band (e.g. FRS1 is 462.5625 MHz) and the radio may not allow them; see the spec page in the back of your manual.

Not a Chirp issue. This radio doesn't allow you to transmit outside ham bands (unless you modify it).
