† The firmware has the US UHF band limits incorrect. They should actually be 420 - 450 MHz.

To change MODES

1. power on radio with the [FUNC]+[P4] keys held to enter service mode
2. turn selector knob to select CH-043
3. hold PTT button and turn selector knob to choose the desired mode (1, 2 or 3)
4. power cycle radio
