Redmine CHIRP - New Model #223 (Blocked): Baofeng BF-490https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/2232012-06-18T18:16:31ZSven-Erik Näslundwimse002@gmail.com
<p>Support for Baofeng BF-490 -and BF-480-?</p>
<p>Software from Baofeng is in Chinese. This makes the radio useless.</p>
CHIRP - New Model #220 (New): Kenwood models TK-3102(A) and TK-3212https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/2202012-06-15T18:00:51ZGreg McCormickgregmccormick@eastlink.ca
<p>I have both radios and would be willing to loan them to a DEV per the loan rules posted on the site. Both are commercial grade Kenwood UHF portables, however there are VHF models within the series.</p>
CHIRP - New Model #218 (Feedback): Yaesu FT-10R, FT40Rhttps://chirpmyradio.com/issues/2182012-06-13T21:34:22ZJames Becknerkc9ktv@hoosierinternet.com
<p>Also wondering if anyone has started on ft-10r and ft40r info for this radio, I have the software and could send you a copy along with a radio file for the ft-10r if that would help?</p>
<p>Have a great day.</p>

CHIRP - Bug #209 (Blocked): need py27-suds for osxhttps://chirpmyradio.com/issues/2092012-06-09T04:08:35ZRob Walkerrob@ladle.net
<p>I am using the daily build from 2012.06.08 on OSX.</p>
<p>When I try to use the radioreference.com importer, I get the following error:</p>
<p>"</p>
<p>Suds library required for RadioReference.com import. Try installing your distribution's python-suds package.</p>
<p>"</p>
<p>I suspect that this error message would make perfect sense, and would be easy to fix, if I were using an awesome OS, like linux. However, I am stuck on OSX for now. :-) I am using the kk7ds python package, and even though I have done "[617]rwalker@a:~$ sudo port install py27-suds" , I continue to get the same error from chirp. Maybe chirp could point to my local python27 install instead?</p>
<p>Thanks,<br>
Rob</p>
CHIRP - New Model #201 (In Progress): Icom IC-R20https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/2012012-06-07T18:11:18ZSebastien DECOURRIEREcontact@tuxfriend.fr
<p>Hello,</p>
<p>I have an IC-R20 scanner, with the provided cloning software CS-R20. This scanner has an USB port for cloning, internally it's a usb to serial converter, and the device is /dev/ttyUSB0 at 9600Baud.</p>
<p>Adresses are the same than other Icom models : $EF for computer and $EE for IC-R20. Model number is $26 $99 $00 $00</p>
<p>Sample files are provided in this ticket. I can capture serial communication between device and computer. I plan to modify an existing device file to test this software with my device.</p>

<p>If you need more information, please ask :)</p>
<p>Thanks.</p>
CHIRP - New Model #190 (Blocked): Standard Horizon HX370Shttps://chirpmyradio.com/issues/1902012-05-29T11:02:43ZBrian Swearingenwoodysfj40@gmail.com
<p>This is a race-type computer-required radio...can only be programmed via cable. CE68 is the only programming software I'm aware of, and it's specific to this radio...makes sharing .dat files a pain.</p>
<p>I've included a sample .dat file from my current radio, should that help.</p>
<p>The cable is the same one used with my Yaesu VX-6</p>
CHIRP - New Model #177 (Blocked): Quansheng TG-UV2https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/1772012-05-20T19:24:05ZRobert Beswickrbeswick@cox.net
<p>Just a question. do youhave any intention of supporting the Quansheng TG-UV2 radio ?</p>
CHIRP - Feature #171 (In Progress): One should be able to uncheck all memory group assignments at...https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/1712012-05-12T05:35:33ZDavid Griffith
<p>For radios that support memory groups, as does the Yaesu VX-7, there should be an option to uncheck all the memory group assignment checkboxes</p>
CHIRP - Feature #170 (New): VX-7 - allow to reorganize channels in memory groupshttps://chirpmyradio.com/issues/1702012-05-12T05:32:29ZDavid Griffith
<p>If channels are assigned to memory groups from within Chirp and then uploaded to the Yaesu VX-7, the order in which the channels appear in the memory groups may change. So far, it appears that they will appear in the order in which you click the checkboxes. Such behavior is not desirable.</p>
CHIRP - Bug #169 (Feedback): VX-7 doesn't recognize memory groups until one is set on the radio's...https://chirpmyradio.com/issues/1692012-05-12T05:05:53ZDavid Griffith
<p>If you create a setup for the Yaesu VX-7 which has frequencies assigned to memory groups, the VX-7 will not recognize any of them as being valid unless and until you assign a memory slot to a memory group from the radio's keypad. After this is done, all memory slots are assigned to memory groups as they appeared in Chirp in addition to the assignment you just made.</p>
<p>Here are two image files containing three memories assigned to memory group 1 and are identical except that test1.img is buggy in this regard whereas test2.img is not.</p>
CHIRP - New Model #95 (New): Uniden Bearcat BC95XLThttps://chirpmyradio.com/issues/952012-03-30T23:14:13Za raccoon
<p>This line of scanners supports a very simple protocol.</p>
<p>Each line terminates with \r (0x13).</p>
<p><- PRG<br>
-> PRG<sup>0K</sup><br>
<- PCMC001F029.0000LRPRDS<br>
-> PCM<sup>OK</sup><br>
<- PCMC002[...]<br>
-> PCM<sup>OK</sup><br>
<- EPG<br>
-> EPG<sup>OK</sup></p>
<p>I've included Uniden's protocol manual. I understand it's a fairly common protocol use by other radios. I'll lend an old radio for test if you want, it has a busted LCD. :)</p>

<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I'm new in ham radio world. I just buy a CN-320 radio, it simply a TK-3207 clone.</p>
<p>Don't hesitate to question me about this device, I will be happy to help!</p>
<p>Best regards.</p>

<p>Can you add support for Yaesu VR-120/150 receivers into CHIRP?</p>
<p>Other opensource software what supports it is available:<br>

CHIRP - Bug #15 (Feedback): FT-8800 Scan / Prefer bithttps://chirpmyradio.com/issues/152011-09-26T13:32:22ZAllan Batteiger
<p>FT8800 setting the scan / Prefer bit is randomly setting bits in Hyper Mems. Hyper mem 2 matches the list as set, the other memories are random. Before and after files have been sent.</p>
