Description
I used this software in an attempt to program my radio. The issues are that it some how opened up 220-260 frequencies and locked out the 70cm band. Help me restore this radio to the proper settings.

I believe the version entered was incorrect... This is from the about section of the software.

It turned out to be the software was the failed piece. I didn't change any settings to my recollection and it would add the 220-260 range. Instead of 400-520. So that has been changed and works.

How do you mean this was a software failure and what about it did you change to get it to work?

As stated, some how the software had 220-260 programmed into the software to the secondary frequency access, which hard coded the radio to not be able to key it into the radio, which was the higher frequencies in the 400-520 range. Once changed in the software the radio could then be updated with the frequencies it was able to receive.

When you say "the software", are you talking about the Baofeng VIP software and not CHIRP, right? So this is solved and can be closed?
