Description

Can no longer program BF-888s radios.

When programming a BF-888S, the basic settings are not programming correctly. Every single checkbox gets turned on during upload, regardless of config selections.

Test method:

  1. Download default config: Appropriate check boxes are assigned. (only voice prompt, scan, voltage tx inhibit, beep, battery saver checked)
  2. Re-upload same config. No errors (but it does end quicker than expected without error).
  3. Re-download from same radio and options in the radio do not match what was uploaded 60 seconds earlier in step 2. ALL checkboxes are now enabled.

This worked before. 6 Months ago I programmed 6 radios and they worked fine. I only discovered this issue when trying to add more radios to our pool. Even the original radios that were programmed successfully behave incorrectly now.

Verified this behavior is not present in 0.4.1. It only exists in daily build.

Downloaded and installed the installer at chirp.danplanet.com/download/0.4.1/ and that version uploaded the settings correctly using the test method above.

Correction. 0.4.1 does it as well. First radio uploaded correctly, but no radios will upload correctly after that initial test.
