Description
CHIRP was originally designed with only a few models in mind, and thus stored memory images as raw files, using the size of those files to differentiate between models. As the list has grown and clones have emerged, this has become unmanageable and leads to poor UX. We need to store some extra details with the memory image in order to be able to provide a consistent experience across download/save/load/upload lifecycles.
