CHIRP has moved to daily builds

Many years ago, CHIRP started providing automated and tested daily builds. At some point we stopped maintaining statically-versioned supposedly "stable" builds because the latest daily was always the most stable option.

So, from here on out, always get the latest daily build!

This update against 0.3.0 contains only fixes against 0.3.0. Users on 0.3.0 should update immediately. Users of the daily versions should not use this version as it contains only fixes against the stable version. The changes are:

CHIRP 0.2.0 Released!

With this version of CHIRP, the version numbering is moving to incrementing the minor version number for each formal release, and will use the revision number for subsequent builds where fixes are backported from the development tree. This will allow fixes (not features) to be communicated to the stable build more often.

Major changes in this version include:
  • A new CSV parser that tolerates quoted fields and commas in the values
  • Polish and Italian translations
  • Updated Python and GTK versions for the Win32 build
  • Native quartz GTK on MacOS
  • 220MHz repeater offset calculation
