I was the developer who closed issue #7997 for the SHX8800. The two seem rather similar in many ways, with cross-references existing on the manufacturer's site as well as others. I'll order an SHX8600 on Friday and, if possible, add it to that code with the necessary changes.

The SHX8600 is ordered, I should be able to get started late May or early June.

I received the SenhaiX 8600 yesterday and am currently working on this issue in the ga510.py driver.
