Description
Having an issue with the UV-6R. The power on message, and the squelch settings are not written to memory. Firmware version HDBF230.
I do notice the progress bar gets to about 80% then quits. I've tried this with a couple different programming cables. Radio was purchased as a door prize from R&L.

Just for giggles, I tried the UV-6R software, and was able to edit the power on message.
