The FT65R doesn't recognize split mode if the VFO-B frequency is in a different band. It also says that it doesn't allow 'odd' / 'nonstandard' splits, but I don't yet know what those restrictions are.

I suspect that it just can't support the Duplex = 'split' option at all.
