I read the instructions above:
Description
When keying in the name for a memory location via the HT keypad I can enter 16 characters for each name. When I download the radio into CHRIP using the GS-5B driver, names are truncated to only 10 characters and when creating new entries in CHRIP I am limited to only 10 characters.
There are no errors reading from or writing to the radio, it's just missing 6 characters that could be used.
