I read the instructions above:
Description
"Error reading from radio: not the amount of data we want."
tried Retevis and TYT versions,
both show the same result.
Chirp tries to read and shows the working bar but ends with the error box and the statement above..
still using Win7 legacy version here, no intentions of upgrading to win10 sorry.
any ideas ?? wrong lead perhaps ??

SORTED
DO NOT USE USB extension leads..!!
just plugged lead directly to USB socket and working fine,
was using a USB extension causing the issue.
