Does not work with any existing, even similar, models. Either responds with a timeout or "Length not as expected". This is a distinct model from the 5RM or the 5RH Pro.

As noted in the ticket I can't program this radio. My Radio is pretty much the same model: Baofeng UV-5RH Pro Max ( mine does not say GPS)
When I try the UV-5R Model I get this error: "Radio Did Not Respond" , there is no computer connect Icon.
I did read the help on this and the connection is good, I assume this because with Baofeng software I see the Computer Icon on the screen of the Radio ( but also will not read).
I tried a few other Models in CHIRP and the Beta 5RM and it shows the computer connect Icon but also will not Read, the error is not the same, I just did not save it for this post.
I am using a Baofeng USB-Serial CH340 on COM 4 and there is no error in the device manager.

Mine doesn't say GPS on it anywhere either. Look at your menu though and if GNSS is the next to last open that's probably what you have.

I received this from Baofeng, so I guess we can only rely on CHIRP (not sure what other software is compatible)....
