Description
I do not know how to resolve this issue but a BAOfeng USB cable is not recognized by CHIRP for the mac, but it is by the mac. Now running parallels and the windows version CHIFP can see the cable.

As you've proved, this is not a problem with Chirp, but rather an issue between your cable and operating system. This is not a Chirp bug.
Check out MacOS_Tips and ask the chirp_users mailing list if you're still having trouble.
