I cannot believe that we are sent to the home page to download the latest version and when that .exe file is run it does not check for an existing installation, or at least for existing CONFIGURATION files ... after spending four hours setting up a .csv to import to my HT I ran chirp, was told i should install latest version, got and installed it only to find that ALL my previous .csv and .xls files were gone -- not even found by UNdelete utility.

Installation file MUST check for prior content before dumping existing folders.
