Description
It would be nice to select a range of memories and insert either a prefix or suffix to the existing channel name.
I would use this feature to logically group like stations on my handhelds that don't support channel banks or other forms of metadata.
For example, I could have a list of San Maeto, CA repeaters appear in my memory list:
(...)
WA6TOW
WR6HMB
N6MPX
(...)
And then, after using a special field in the properties dialog or perhaps a new option under "Edit", have this selected range of channels be prefixed to:
(...)
SM:WA6TOW
SM:WR6HMB
SM:N6MPX
(...)
