I read the instructions above:

Description

In the names of memory locations I use some punctuation - especially + and /. If I read the radio in Clone mode, these are all downloaded and displayed correctly, but any editing of them removes the punctuation. (I haven't tried uploading back to the radio to see if they're edited out in that process).
I see that the "Characters" column in the Model Support table shows this: Alphanumerics only for Clone, punctuation as well for Live.
This is really awkward! I don't want to work live if I can help it as I want to save/restore various configurations.
Is there a reason the Clone version can't handle punctuation, and removes it on edit?
