Description
I have a Kenwood TH-42AT (the UHF version, the VHF version is the -22AT) that I am willing to loan. I may also be able to obtain (and loan) a TH-79AT which is the dual band version of this radio.
These radios support cloning, and at one time there was a dos programming package for the TH-79AT.

I don't believe any of these models support direct programming via computer (i.e., serial), but instead use an OTA RF cloning via dtmf sequences.
While it might be interesting to build a standalone program that decoded/encoded dtmf programming sequences for these, it doesn't seem to fit the model of chirp.
