Description

(I searched and didn't see a new model request for Midland MXT radios, but if I overlooked something please let me know how to right my wrong.)

I'm requesting support for the Midland MicroMobile MXT275 which may also work for the MXT105 and MXT115, but not the MXT400. The MXT400 software is available from Midland and the radio is difficult to get at the moment due to lack of availability. I asked Midland for the software to program the MXT275 and was told that I wasn't allowed to have it since I could program the radio to operate outside the GMRS range. If there is a developer in ANZ maybe you could get your hands on the SW to snoop the protocol.

The MXT275 is a US GMRS radio, however the base unit is known as the ML802 in ANZ and the M5 in Europe. It is known that it can be programmed via software due to a video posted on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNpncewNIeQ&t=305s

The radio is connected using a "typical" Baofeng USB to 2-pin serial cable to the handset/microphone.

Unfortunately my skill level doesn't make me a candidate for even modifying code; I know enough that I should stay away.

I'm willing to ship or buy to ship to your location an MXT275 to support this development. I have an MXT275 & cable if there is anything I can provide to assist with this request and/or test. Depending on how high of a priority someone is willing to make this I may be willing to just buy the radio for you and not have you return it to me.
