Description
I would like to propose adding some additional modes to the software:
- AM mode - receivers with airband capabilities will have this mode. In fact if the frequency is in airband you might as well assume it is AM.
- USB and LSB modes - common on SW rigs, although some VHF/UHF rigs also have them.
- CW mode - just like above, very common for SW.
- Automatic mode - some radios have it, for example the "AMS mode" on YSF rigs. Since different brands may call them differently, we might as well just lump them all under the same "automatic" umbrella.
- YSF DN and VW modes.
- DMR mode.
- D-STAR mode.
And then, there are some digital specific configurations you may want to implement:
- YSF: per-channel Group Monitor configuration, device-wide call sign.
- DMR: Per-channel contacts and talk groups, device-wide DMR ID.
