Description
The President Lincoln II+ is becomming popular as a 10, 11, 12 meter rig and was wondering if it could be supported. Software is available to transfer data to and from the rig via a usb/serial cable, but it offers very few options. It's a pretty cool AM/FM/sideband/CW rig, and seems to be a departure from the normal lame "blinkey light" "CB" rigs on the market. I enjoy making 10 meter sideband contacts and talking on lobal 10 meter nets.
There is a hidden menu (hold up/down during boot) which permits adjusting the main BFO, individual mode BFO's, squelch settings, automatic squelch settings, cw pitch, squelch tones, etc. Some of these settings are adjustable by turning the knob, others are set by hitting the "band" button during signal injection (or while adjusting the gain knob if you do it the hard way).
President is not selling the programming cable yet but one may use a different cable plugged directly into the main board if a tiny adapter is not available to plug into the back of the rig.
President electronics in Florida has been overwhelmed by sales. They are a French engineeing firm, with global distribution, but these current rigs are made in China. Go figure.

I do have this radio too. Is there any future plan of developing the programming software?
