A github pull request has been submitted for review.
I tried to obtain official technical information from Barrett Communications (now part of Motorola Solutions) but was unsuccessful. I requested a copy of "HF-90 Programming Guide (Q-MAC Part No. QM1001/2)" which is mentioned in the technical manual as well as the dealer technical bulletins but I didn't get a response.
In the absence of information from the vendor, the driver is as good as it is going to get for now. If someone wants to send me radios to experiment with, that may also allow me to improve the driver.
