closedLeixen vv898 radio refused programming mode

Description
Not sure exactly what the issue is here but I plug in my new 898 radio to the usb and turn it on and then plug it in to my computer. I try every comp port available and selecting Leixen vv898 or jet stream jt720m. Still getting the same reaction. Not sure if its chirp or the radio and who to call for that. Looking for some help here

I'm having similar issues with my Linux version of chirp. Do you have a logfile that you can upload. Also what serial number is your leixen vv-898? Wondering if it is a similar run, maybe a different firmware number than what the developers used. Let's give the developers some information. Here is my ticket, any information you probably can add in on your situation would be probably useful other than version 0.4.0 and Windows. Do you have a logfile and what status does your device driver report for the USB connection from the windows device manager.
