The reason it doesn't work is because support was removed from the radio. When I get a chance I will remove the following settings from the driver (affects both the BTECH GMRS-V2 and BTECH MURS-V2).

DTMF Speed (on)
DTMF Speed (off)
ANI Code
When to send ANI ID
Alarm Code

No programming software is able to make a radio do anything it is not capable of doing. You will just have to use the per-channel Signal Code 1-15 settings (which are otherwise the same as the global ANI Code). Plus the ANI Code (when supported) must be piggybacked on top of a Signal Code to function. The ANI Code is only useful if you want the "PTT Pressed" and "PTT Released" codes to be globally different. So unless this is your goal, the lack of an ANI Code should not be missed.

After contacting the dealer, it was determined that it is only the OEM software that (accidentally?) had the DTMF settings (including the ANI Code) disabled. After getting a functioning copy of the OEM software, I was able to determine what is needed to change in order to have CHIRP able to program the rest of the DTMF settings. A patch will be coming soon.
