Bug #10293
closedUnable to open radio image after saving it
100%
Description
Open an IMG file (created from old non-next version of CHIRP).
Make a small edit.
Save file (also, asterisk does not go away in tab at top. But in Finder I do see the modification date changed to present.)
When I go to open that file I get "An error has occurred / Unknown file format"
Ok, maybe file format is subtly different between version I need to start with a fresh radio download, and edit that.
Download from radio (UV-82), save that without changes. Try to open that file and I get same error, unable to open.

Oof, yeah, this is a bug just introduced in the last couple days and only affects slightly older python versions. The macos app runs on Big Sur's runtime, which doesn't support a particular thing.
I'll get this fixed up for tomorrow. Thanks, and I hope you didn't lose much as a result of this.
