Leixen VV898S v107

Hi Apologies for last post, now deleted thanks.

ok , I have a later version 898s that uses oem cps VV898S_USER_V107.EXE

now, it reads well, communicates on a download but all the memorys are jumbled.

chirp has 898s in list but not correct. think i have a later version radio

the 898s has 2 banks, and this is not reflected. hence possibly jumbled list

on legacy chip i have module leixen_107.py

this is issues too but at least it allows a mem list download, edit/paste from another img, then reupload in 1 session. i then use oem cps to read radio and back it up again to file.

if I save in legacy chirp a read radio, i cant open properly as it is opened as another radio type.

chirp next is unable to open py module. multiple exception types must be parensesized line 304
