Description

I used CHIRP a few months ago and was able to retrieve repeater information from RepeaterBook for Amateur Service. I used these selections in the CHIRP software: Radio, Query Source, RepeaterBook, United States, Amateur, South Carolina, Optional: 45.0000, Optional: -122.0000, 10, Optional: County, Hospital, etc, Limit Bands 2m, Limit Modes FM . When I hit OK, I now get: " Failed: sequence item 0: expected str instance, NoneType found ". This only happens if I select Service: Amateur. If I select GRMS the data is returned correctly. I am using the same configuration file (.img file) for my BTECH UV-5X3 that I used previously with no errors. I uninstalled the CHIRP software and reloaded it using today's build. I get the same error message.

Debug log is as follows:

[2023-02-06 20:56:30,529] chirp.logger - DEBUG: CHIRP next-20230206 on Win32 (Unknown 10.0:19045) (Python 3.10.8)

Just in case there was a problem with RepeaterBook on their end, I used my RT Systems software for my FT-991A and was able to retrieve 2 meter repeater info from RepeaterBook using the RT Systems software with no apparent errors.

This is not a critical need, but I really didn't know what else to do to resolve it other than to ask you.

Thank you,

Wayne

Yeah, repeaterbook changed their encoding last week which introduced a slight behavioral change. Fix coming tomorrow, thanks.

Note that you filed this against daily, but you're clearly running next, so I changed it.
