The squelch mode is being changed from Tone to Cross in the latest version of Chirp-Next. This prevents the radio from communicating with repeaters.

The first entries for W4MOE and BRARC were edited by hand to show Tone vice Cross.

If you are referring to memory rows like 9, 10, 13, 16, etc, that is because they are programmed to use only an RX CTCSS tone (no TX CTCSS tone). In this case, Tone Mode: Cross and Cross Mode: ->Tone would be correct.

After installing the TYT software here and loading you .dat file into it, my guess would be that there is a confusion regarding tone fields and they are being transposed into CHIRP correctly.

In the TYT software
QT/DQT Dec is the RX related field
QT/DQT Enc is the TX related field

In CHIRP the order is reversed
Tone is the TX related field
Tone Squelch is the RX related field

So when transferring the data from the TYT software to CHIRP, the data in the QT/DQT Enc field needs to go into the Tone field (just like it was switched to in memory rows 1 and 3), not the Tone Squelch field.
