According to the debug.log file you are making 2 mistakes.
- You are making the wrong Vendor/Model selections (which causes the error message to appear).
- You are not following the advice of the error message (and continuing to select the wrong Vendor/Model).
Error with communicating with radio Radio identifies as BTECH UV-5X3. Please choose the proper vendor/model and try again.
The correct Vendor/Model (as stated in the error message) is as follows:
