Getting the "radio did not respond" message. It has worked before same equipment.

Not likely a CHIRP issue. Most likely one or both of the following...
1 Incompatible device driver
2 The 2-pin plug is not fully inserted into the radio's socket and not making a complete connection
To troubleshoot 1, what full text displayed for the COM6 choice?
To troubleshoot 2, try pressing on the plug during the cloning process.
