Description

In all of the TD-H8 modes, selecting the duplex for the keyword Off creates an error that Off is not in the list. The pull down selection should be "off" with lower case 'o' as opposed to upper case 'O' to make this error not occur. This was tested onboth Windows and Mac.

That's not the only problem, the driver doesn't support encoding or decoding that duplex=off so it shouldn't be exposing it at all (unless or until it learns how to do that).

Dunno the "proper" way to reopen an issue - but:
many radios handle this by programming an invalid frequency in the transmit. I use 66600000 for this radio. I had to use the browser in development mode to do this - but CHIRP-Next versions after 20230619 have editing in the development mode browser disabled for some reason? I keep that version around just for stuff like this.
