Description

Downloaded latest version of CHIRP.

When I try a read of an anyone TA-778uv, I get the following error.

[Errno 16] could not open port /dev/cu.BLTH: [Errno 16] Resource busy: '/dev/cu.BLTH'

Is there something I need to know?

Thanks,

I found a more recent version of CHIRP which was able to read from the Anytone 778UV & 778UV Vox. I was able to select the 778UV Vox and clone the radio but when I tried to upload data to the radio, CHIRP switched itself back to the non Vox 778UV but complained that it should be set to the Vox version and could not send the data. However, the box where I would have had to change to the Vox version was grayed out and I couldn't change the version.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch in the software?

Thanks,

You are not selecting the correct port. You should not be selecting anything that has to do with Bluetooth. I would recommend that you review the MacOS_Tips page.

This is a different issue and should be under a separate ticket. You also did not include a debug.log file. Please review the How_To_Report_Issues page.

Thanks. I will look at those links. I did have the USB port selected. I will also start a separate issue.
