You'll need to explain more about what you're trying and what isn't working.

A "repeater frequency" is just one with a duplex and offset. So are you trying to set a duplex? An offset? Is something refusing to "stick"? Or is the radio not doing what you seem to have programmed it for?

Your debug log doesn't show any activity, so there's nothing I can glean from it. Please also attach the .img file you're working on, and provide more explanation.

Ok more explanation: Ref to .img file line 40. I want to add freq 223.84 knowing it is the K6RRR San Diego OTAY link freq.
My thinking it is a repeater with an offset of 1.6. When I input freq I except to see an offset, but none is shown. I think.
the program is thinking it is a simplex frequency. Unable to change.
Hope this is enough.

You have to tell it that it's a repeater frequency because CHIRP doesn't have an automatic mapping for the 220MHz band (being weird as it is). So for that repeater (based on what I see in RepeaterBook), put in the frequency 223.84, then select "-" in the duplex column, then change the offset column to 1.600MHz and you should be good.

Note that you can also get the repeater from RepeaterBook. In this case, go to Radio->Query Source->Repeaterbook. Choose California, and put "otay" in the filter box. Then choose "only certain bands" and then make sure only "1.25 meter" is selected. When you query, you should see just a few channels, including the 223.84 with the offset and duplex already set (as well as the tone). Just select that channel, Edit->Copy, then switch back to your radio tab, select the row you want, then Edit->Paste.
