Description
I get this error when I try to view settings after download from file. I have also tried to use a different Baofeng profile I have saved and get an error, "image not supported by radio". So Chirp is not reading or writing any settings to the radio. I am, however, able to upload just a memory list to the radio.
I've attached two images

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The 'Correct Image' image is a good image. The 'Settings Error' image is a bad image. It is missing the band limits (which is causing the error message) among other things.
Please make a fresh download from your radio and attach it to this issue. Its condition will determine on what the next course of action is.

OK. I don't how how it happened, but the memory of your radio is corrupt the same way that 'Settings Error' image is. Did you possibly try to program your radio with a older version of CHIRP-next or classic CHIRP?
You will have to restore your radio using the 'Correct Image' image that you have. Below are the instructions for how to do it.
- Start CHIRP-next
- Load your previously saved "Correct Image" image file into CHIRP-next
- Click Settings -> Advanced Settings
- Click in the field at the bottom Range Override Parameter setting
- Type CTRL + A to highlight the whole field
- Tap the Delete key to empty the field
- Manually type in UseAtOwnRisk (do not copy-and-paste from your browser)
- Upload to your radio
If the upload is successful, CHIRP-next will present an error message that tells you to restart CHIRP-next.
At this point your radio should be back to normal. Download a new image from your radio to verify that you can access the settings tabs without any errors. It should have none since it should be identical to your 'Correct Image' image.
If all is OK, now you can load your 'Settings Error' image so you can copy-and-paste from its 'bad' tab to you newly created 'good' tab. Make any global settings changes and upload back to your radio.
DO NOT use this Range Override Parameter setting to upload images from another radio into your radio. This can result in unwanted side affects. The only safe way is to open separate tabs from you source and target radios and then copy-and-paste between them.

Thank you for your help. This fixed the issue. I actually had 3 radios with the same issue and this fixed all of them. My only guess is the vendor I received them from didn't fully test the, prior to selling them.
