Hi,
updated chirp.
it does not open saved img's that have been saved from 0.8.1 py mod or earlier.

what version has been put into chirp? https://github.com/egzumer/uvk5-chirp-driver/releases
the layout in settings is newer in the 0.8.1 chirp mod than this daily release.

The out of tree driver wasn't suitable for inclusion in chirp as it was, so some changes had to be made, including how the driver identifies itself to CHIRP. That means opening images created with that driver won't be recognized by chirp with the native driver.
If you need me to relabel your image, I can do that for you this time, but you can also just create a proper image my downloading it from the radio with the chirp release that includes the driver.
I'm not sure what you're referring to specifically about the settings, but some changes in the structure were made there as well. The settings are all present, they're just structured the way they should be to match the UI.
