Description
I just downloaded and installed a "clean copy" of CHIRP in a Windows 2000 Professional machine. I cannot get it to open. Does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong? CHIRP works fine in my XP machine, so I am baffled by this.

I think pygtk stopped supporting windows 2000 quite a while ago, something on chirp depends heavily. You're the first person to bring it up in years, so it stayed on the list of supported platforms. I just removed it to avoid confusion in the future. Sorry about that, but it is fourteen years old. CHIRP doesn't run on any other platforms that old either :/
