Description

I am new to chirp and am having lots of frustrations trying to enter in simplex channels
on an ICIOM 2720H any assistance would be great

I only started using CHIRP recently, so I might not be the best person to answer your concern. The first thing I would do is upgrade your version of CHIRP to the latest daily build.

From there it is only a matter of entering the simplex frequency and an optional name. Remember to click away from the channel on the panel to have CHIRP accept the entered value. You might find it easier to select an empty channel and click the Properties button to fill in the channel details from there.
