Bug #2637

Description
I was trying to program my UV-5R last night, using latest build. I made sure the com port matched the software, and made sure to load the right driver into the USB cable. I followed instructions on Miklor.com to the letter, but the radio still would not respond to the CHIRP program. Finally, I reduced buffer speed in the com port using device manager, and all went smoothly after that. I haven't seen com port buffer speed listed in the FAQ/troubleshooting blogs, so I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else ran into this problem.

This is not a bug request. Something like this should be posted to the chirp_users mailing list.
This is covered in the CHIRP FAQ. See "The mythical port settings in Windows":http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/FAQ_Adjusting_The_Serial_Port_Settings_In_Windows
