Description
police scanners seem to be similar to VHF radios, there's a frequency and a label, don't have to worry about squelch, PL tone, or offset. Would it be hard to support them in CHIRP?
I have a RadioShack Pro83. There are many other scanners out on the market, most of them can interface to PC with a USB-to-serial converted cable. Just the frequency management support would be useful.
