openFreezes upload on Icom ID-880H

Description
I was able to download from my transceiver onto the CHIRP software but when I try to upload changes onto the equipment it freezes at about 1/5 the way in. Rebooting the radio results in all memories being erased. Assuming that it was a change I'd made that was causing the issue, I downloaded the radio again and without making any changes, immediately attempted the upload. Same result. Please help.

Please try with a recent version of Chirp, the Icom driver has been reviewed.
