Description

Hi all. I am looking for help when it comes to CHIRP and the Icom IC-T70 radio. I have tried 2 identical cables form Valley Enteprises to communicate with my radio.
Driver is correct as is the COM port setting. All I ever get is "failed to communicate with radio; unexpected response from radio"
I'm running Windows 10.
I see there are already some similar bugs being reported.
I have another cable from Valley and it works great with my Yaesu 817-ND.
Been at this for about three weeks now back and forth with Valley and Icom and they can't help.
Any assistance may keep me from trading this HT in on a half dozen Baofengs!!

Hi Adam,

If there are other bugs, please make a comment on one of those bugs that looks similar.

In almost all cases of this sort of thing, the problem is one of user error (and second most often: issues with drivers or cables). Please ask usage and setup questions on the mailing list. Bugs on this tracker are for actual bugs people find.
