Bug #390
closedCrash on import
0%
Description
New user, so I may be doing something wrong!
I uploaded an image from my Icom Q7, and was attempting to save it as a .csv so I can export it to another radio.
I created a new file, and then attempted to import the Icom image file, when it then crashes.
Using CHIRP daily-20130101.

Can you tell me what mode memory channel 14 appears to be in? I.e. AM, FM, WFM, etc.
Thanks!

That was a very good hint!
I had previously used the Q7 programming utility by Goran Vlaski, and reading from it, Channels 10 through 20 were listed as "Auto", and of course Chirp showed them as essentially empty. Also, on the radio itself it did not show any mode! I edited those channels in his program and re-uploaded, then downloaded into Chirp and that seems to have fixed it. I'm wondering just what "auto" did!
I'll attach the new files, which seem to work fine now.

Okay, I just committed a fix for this in r1785, which will be in tomorrow's daily build. It adds support for "auto" modes to the chirp core, and specifically for the Q7 driver.
Thanks!
