closedBaofeng UV-5RTP "Incorrect Model Selected" error

Description
Radio just arrived. Tried the supplied USB cable and my known good cable with same error. Using BF-F8HP settings which work on my GT-3TP radios just fine but not on this. CHIRP daily-20170311.
As per recommendations from other bug reports, I tried UV-5R and UV-5X settings which did download from the radio but do not have tripower option (High-Low only).

Power-On Message 2: UV-5RTP
Power-On Message: Message
Attached is CHRIP read from the radio using UV-5X settings with Developer Functions enabled.
I live in Tigard and can loan the radio if needed.

Please refer to Bugs 4617, 4399 and 3925 which was "rejected" apparently errantly.

Not errantly. Instead of checking to see if the bug has already been reported, many are opening new issues for the same bug. The are something near 10 of them now.

Gotcha. I didn't notice if any bug reporters attached an image file or offered to loan the radio so I did. This model is getting popular and I don't want to recommend it to my Tigard CERT team if CHIRP support isn't sewn up tight.
