Description
I have a VX-7r. I get an "Clone Error" on radio's display (eventually). No error in the software...
I often get no error at all, just it fails to complete the download process, by returning the radio to its last used mode (like factory or Commander software does).
The Commander software has a data speed control, found in the comm port setting menu (!). Default is 15, and I find 20 is needed (on all my 3 computers).
Version used: CHIRP daily-20170311
Cabled used: FTDI USB, 4-contsact cable (work with commander (vx5 and vx7).
