Description
When trying to read/write via bluetooth serial, unable to communicate. Issue has been found that the chirp software is not opening the connection to the bluetooth cat control. I have found a temporary workaround by using a serial port splitter, connecting to one of the virtual serial ports created by the splitter with Putty, to force a connection to the cat control module, and performing my read/write operations by using the other virtual serial port created. This problem is found while trying to program a Yaesu FT-857d, with an FBT06 cat control adapter (generic bluetooth serial device), and with an operating system of Windows 8.

Not sure whether this is an issue with Chirp.
I would suspect that it has something to do with the Bluetooth driver.
Please let us know whether you were able to resolve the problem.
