Description
Cut and Paste does not work properly
cutting simply dims memory locations, although paste does copy the selection to the new memory location, the old values are still in their original position, similar to the copy function

That is precisely the intended behavior. The dimming indicates that it is deleted, and if you click the "go" button at the top, you will see it disappear. This is a very common UI construct these days.
