I recently purchased a UV-5X3 and each time I try to download from radio, it will get anywhere from 30% to 90% complete, reset, and I get an error message stating "Error reading data from radio: not the amount of data we want." I have updated my drivers and the software to latest version.

I'm seeing a very similar behavior. CHIRP will start to download from the radio and almost immediately reset the radio and issue the error message. debug.log file attached with details. I've tried this with 20171104 and 20171120. Both on Windows10 x64.

I acquired a new FTDI cable and was able to use updated drivers. The issue has been resolved for me with the new cable.
