Description
Hello, fst of all, congrats about the chirp project. I am completely away from this area, I am a doctor...lol.
But let me report som issues.
The Chirp can load data from UV-6R, even from previous "unlocked" one.
But after doing that, The "settings" menu became white, with no options in it.
And if I want to write a "non-predefined" frequency memory, such as 220Mhz, It won't do it. (even in a previous unlocked uv-6r, or even if chirp had imported from the radio a memory like that).
It1d be nice if Chirp, like in the past did with 5r, could unlock the radio an became the pattern software, because once used chirp top upload to radio, the original software won't read from it.

Hello Dr. Silva, sorry for the late feedback.
From what I've read, blank settings come from some out-of-range settings programmed into the radio and then downloaded from it again.
If you have a factory image of a UV-6R, try whether uploading it to the radio helps.
